Located to the north of Yasaka Shrine at the intersection of Chion-in-michi and Higashi Oji-dori Avenue, the shop is the only one operated by the Ichizawa Shinzaburo Hanpu company. The shop’s mode is “made in Kyoto, sold in Kyoto.” The cutting, shaping, sewing, and attachment of the metal fittings of the shop’s bags, backpacks, lifestyle goods, and other canvas products are all done one by one by the hands of craftspeople. Except for occasional limited time pop-up stalls, this is the only place you can buy Ichizawa Shinzaburo Hanpu products.
