This baseball stadium is in Koshien Town, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture and is the headquarters of the professional baseball team the “Hanshin Tigers.” It is also used as the site for the two major national high school baseball competitions, the “Japanese High School Baseball Championship” held in summer and the “Japanese High School Baseball Invitational Tournament” held in spring. Nagano Shimotakai-gun Yamanouchimachi Shigakogen
This ski resort is located in Shimotakai County, Nagano Prefecture. The facility name is actually the collective name for several ski slopes of varying sizes and is one of the largest ski resorts in Japan. The area is known for its abundant snowfalls, and during ski season the resort bustles with locals and tourists alike. Each slope has its own unique character and they are all connected via free lifts; there are also shuttle busses. There's something for skiers of all levels here - for example, the resort offers classes for children and beginners, and there's a highly difficult, 30 degree Olympic Course used during the Nagano Olympics. Some of the slopes have lights for nighttime skiing, ensuring that visitors can enjoy a full day of winter sports here.

Highly recommended for both on & off-piste skiing, although many lifts are slow and none have footrests, so tired legs !

    Tokyo Shibuya-ku Jinnan 2-1-1
This sports complex in the Jinnan district of Tokyo’s Shibuya City is comprised of two gymnasiums, an indoor pool, and an outdoor futsal court. It was constructed for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Both the First and Second Gymnasiums were designed by the representative Japanese architect Kenzo Tange, and have a suspension style roof design that is unusual even by global standards. In addition to hosting matches for volleyball, futsal, handball, and basketball, it is often used for events such as concerts and martial arts tournaments.

Always a marvellous-looking building, its a bit hard to see in all its glory at the moment as its being redeveloped in time for the 2020 Olympic Games. At that time I expect it to look fantastic.
